What to do if your Mercedes auxiliary battery malfunctions

If some vehicles relied on the starting battery to power accessories, it would have a negative impact on the main battery and the alternator. An auxiliary battery can help reduce voltage drops on the main battery since it is separate. In some cases, an auxiliary battery can assist if your main power source fails, but it may not actually provide any “starting” duties itself.
Choosing a replacement Mercedes auxiliary battery
