Booth to also premier company’s new ODYSSEY® Performance Series™ Batteries and first-ever “Pure Guts Wall of Fame”
READING, Pennsylvania, September 24, 2019 – EnerSys® (NYSE:ENS), the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications and the manufacturer of ODYSSEY® batteries, is pleased to announce that several internationally-recognized, motorsports personalities will once again make a special appearance at its ODYSSEY® battery booth no. 24875 at the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. The fearless father/daughter racing duo of Brian and Hailie Deegan, X Games Gold Medalist Tanner Foust and the 2019 Indianapolis 500 Champion Simon Pagenaud will be among the individuals stopping by this year’s booth. The SEMA Show will take place November 5 – 8 in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

In addition to the in-booth, celebrity appearances, EnerSys® will have on display the first-ever ODYSSEY® battery “Pure Guts Wall of Fame” on display. This visually-compelling collage will be featured on the outside wall of the ODYSSEY® battery booth and is part of a social media contest that launched on September 11, 2019. To enter the ODYSSEY® Battery Pure Guts Contest, participants are encouraged to visit the Pure Guts website for more information and to learn how to submit a 50-word or less testimonial through Instagram and/or Facebook as to why they favor ODYSSEY® batteries for their premium driving experience.
Participants have until Monday, September 30, 2019 to submit their online entry. Submissions will then be reviewed by a panel of EnerSys® judges who will select 3 winners with the best “Pure Guts” moments. Winners of this year’s contest will be notified directly in the weeks leading up to the 2019 SEMA Show and in addition to being featured on the “Pure Guts Wall of Fame” at the show, will also receive a premium brand, all-purpose, insulated cooler stuffed to the brim with ODYSSEY® battery branded merchandise.
