Motocross legend, off-road racer, team owner and businessman “The General” Brian Deegan is a pioneer in action sports. Fifteen-time X-Games medalist, multi-time off-road champion and co-founder of the Metal Mulisha, Brian Deegan, is one of action sports’ most respected and decorated athletes. His long list of accomplishments speaks for themselves. Brian continues to compete at a high level all while paving the way for the next generation. Most recently, Brian has dominated the off-road truck racing world winning six championships since 2009. Deegan was named Lucas Oil Rookie of the Year in Pro 2 Unlimited, and took home the 2011 Lucas Oil Driver of the Year (which he also won in 2010). Brian currently participates in Motocross, Freestyle Motocross, and Short Course Trucks as founder and owner of the Metal Mulisha.
Since 2008, Camburg Engineering, Inc. (Camburg) has been developing a full line of CAD designed and developed vehicles — the KINETIK series trucks. Camburg debuted the first KINETIK vehicle at the 2009 Baja 1000, putting the truck through the ultimate test. The Camburg team finished the race and conquered some of the most extreme terrain in off-road racing, showing the world that these trucks are truly race proven. These turnkey race trucks are built to endure the longest and most harsh off-road conditions. No component has been overlooked and each part is built to the highest precision and industry standards. Since then, Camburg has been racing its own Camburg-built KINETIK series trophy truck, having huge success competing in both the Trophy Truck and the 6100 “Spec Trophy Truck” classes. In 2010, efforts were focused on racing in the Best in the Desert series and has earned multiple podiums, a first place finish in the Parker 425, Parker BWDC, the Vegas to Reno and two first place finishes in the Mint 400. Most recently, with celebrity and car enthusiast Jay Leno behind the wheel, the all-new Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro earned a spot on the podium with a first place finish in the 2017 Mint 400.
Greg Adler Motorsports
The Manhattan Beach, California resident grew up in the off-road industry and has a passion for anything with four wheels and an engine. His father George Adler created 4 Wheel Parts in 1965 by producing a catalog of aftermarket parts inspired by the Sears catalog. Greg worked in the family’s Southern California retail stores before earning his accounting degree and CPA at Arizona State University. Upon graduation, he returned to the family business and now serves as the company’s president and CEO.
Competing in off-road racing is one of Adler’s greatest passions. His racing career began in the desert and took him from Baja to the Spec Truck series to King of the Hammers behind the wheels of buggies and trucks. Initially sparked by short course off-road racing in the Midwest, when short course migrated west, Adler embraced it. Racing for Team 4 Wheel Parts, among his accomplishments are three career wins in both Pro 2 and Pro 4 of the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series along with a Class 4400 win in the 2017 Mint 400 Desert Race.
Currently, Adler serves on the Board of Directors of SEMA and ORBA, which fights for off-road land use rights. He and his wife Stacy have four children – Damon, Olivia, Lake and Brooke. In 2016, Adler appeared on the CBS-TV program “Undercover Boss,” visiting 4 Wheel Parts retail locations in disguise to get a behind-the-scenes look at employees in the company he helms.
The land of ten thousand lakes is home to Pro Walleye angler Captain Greg Rudisill. A Minnesota native, veteran tournament pro, charter captain and guide, Greg has been chasing walleyes across the northland and competing on the tournament trails for almost 30 years with multiple top finishes.
Powering up his Skeeter WX-2190 with 4 ODYSSEY Extreme Series batteries keeps him on the water to battle the wind, waves and extreme conditions mother nature dishes out. Hailie Deegan has been racing since she was eight years old – and has found success from the start. At just 13 years old, Deegan competed on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in the Modified Kart class. She was the first female to the podium, taking first place at Glen Helen Raceway in 2014. In 2016, Deegan collected seven regional championship podium finishes and five Mod Class National series podium finishes leading her to the Mod 2 Kart Class Championship and becoming the first female to win a LOORRS series championship. Deegan has since found her way to other racing series, committing to each opportunity and aggressively looking for the next chance to take the track. Hailie currently competes in short course trucks, late model stock cars, and is a member of the prestigious NASCAR Next marketing program.
Hook The Future
Capt Don is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, whose life has always revolved around the ocean. He grew up fishing, surfing and diving and has been a charter captain for many years, spending most of his life on the water. As host of the popular television show “Hook the Future”, for the last 15 years, he is able to share his experience with the next generation on a daily basis. On “Hook the Future”, he takes kids fishing all over the world and enables them to experience world class fishing at its finest while instilling the values of being good stewards of our environment. Since 2005, Captain Don also hosts Kids Fishing Clinics at major boat shows and events across the Southeast teaching thousands of families annually how to succeed in fishing, while spending quality time in the outdoors with people you love.
Team Penske is one of the most successful teams in the history of professional sports and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016. Cars owned and prepared by Team Penske have produced more than 450 major race wins, over 500 pole positions and 29 National Championships across open-wheel, stock car and sports car racing competitions. In its storied history, the team has also earned 16 Indianapolis 500 victories, two Daytona 500 Championships, a Formula 1 win and overall victories in the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring. Team Penske currently competes in the Verizon IndyCar Series, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series. The team also races in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, in a partnership with Dick Johnson Racing, as DJR Team Penske.
Nicholas Ashby is a combat veteran whose automotive career started in Iraq while serving as a demolitions soldier on a fire team. He outfitted and retrofitted his own uparmor Humvees. After a 14 month tour and 400 combat mission he returned to the states to become the military's spokesman. After numerous magazine covers and articles in magazines like Road & Track, Truckin, Car and Driver, Import Tuner and GM High-Tec, his builds and designs became the landing point for his success at the SEMA show. His run at SEMA for the last 7 years has awarded him builds with OEM brands like Chevy, Nissan, Dodge and Hyundai with successes in multiple categories of import, off-road and muscle. The builds feature partnerships with some of the largest aftermarket companies. Awards have been handed from all levels to magazine awards like Restylin Magazine to GM Design awards and Gran Turismo being the top SEMA award sought after. When Ashby isn't in the office or on tour you will find him cutting and welding in his private shop in southern California or hitting the outdoors in one of his builds. Rutledge Wood’s passion for cars and motorsports started at an early age; learning from his father the business of buying, restoring and selling vehicles both new and old. After moving from Birmingham, Alabama to Peachtree City, Georgia in 1995 and completing high school, Rutledge went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in marketing.
Rutledge’s first experience in NASCAR came during his first job in entertainment: traveling with the NASCAR circuit for Country Music Television’s mobile marketing activation. Soon after, Rutledge was hired by SPEED TV, (now FoxSports 1) where he worked for 10 seasons covering NASCAR. He was a correspondent for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pre-race show, NASCAR RaceDay, and has hosted or co-hosted various NASCAR shows and events for Fox Sports, including SPEED Road Tour Challenge, NASCAR Smarts and NASCAR Live, as well as the annual NASCAR Awards Banquet.
Tanner Foust is a versatile and multi-talented driver known for his supreme car control and a proven track record of podium placements, national championships and world records. He is a three-time United States rallycross champion (2012, 2011, 2010) who has also won four X Games gold medals (2013, 2010, 2007) and two Formula Drift championships (2008, 2007). He has held multiple world records including one for the astonishing Hot Wheels Double Loop Dare, which saw Foust drive a car through a 66-foot loop-the-loop. He scored the indoor speed record for TV's Top Gear United States of America, and set a distance jump record with Hot Wheels when he made a 332 foot ramp-to-ramp leap in a truck at the Indy 500. His varied race experience also includes multiple years of open wheel competition, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, rally racing, various types of sports car racing and the SCORE Baja. He has represented the USA in the annual Race of Champions three times, teaming with NASCAR star Carl Edwards in 2008, Travis Pastrana in 2009 and Mick Doohan in 2010. When he isn't racing, the professional driver also performs on television and handles stunt driving in numerous popular films, TV shows and commercials. He is featured as a stunt driver in Need 4 Speed, as well as other major releases including the Bourne Legacy, Bourne Ultimatum, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Dukes of Hazzard, Red Dawn and Iron Man 2.
The Terracross Championship features the best of off-road competition on rough, tough and muddy courses with obstacles and special features including rocks, logs, crossover jumps and tight turns. With events televised on CBS Sports, spec Polaris RZR XP 1000 vehicles, and top athletes from diverse racing backgrounds, Terracross has become one of the premier racing series in the world.
Since the early 1980s, Todd Romano has been racing and building just about anything with 2, 3 or 4 wheels. As a multi-time Baja 1000, 500 and 250 Champion, Romano has competed in several dozen series across four continents, including SCORE, Best in the Desert, ULTRA 4 and Stadium Super. Romano’s competition cars include the Arctic Wildcat XX UTV, which he designed and built with longtime friend and fellow racer Robby Gordon as part of their Speed RMG partnership.
