New ODYSSEY^® Battery Heavy Duty/Commercial Guide Outlines Solutions for Commercial Vehicles

READING, Pa., (January 16, 2008) –EnerSys^® recently released its new ODYSSEY^® battery heavy duty/commercial product guide.  The guide outlines the eight ODYSSEY battery models available for commercial fleets.  It also provides details about the ODYSSEY Ultimizer™ chargers available for related commercial fleet batteries.

The new ODYSSEY battery heavy duty/commercial product guide includes detailed specifications and terminal layouts for battery models 75/86-PC1230, 25-PC1400, 35-PC1400, 34-PC1500, 34/78-PC1500, 65-PC1750, 31-PC2150 and PC2250. The guide also outlines the features and benefits of ODYSSEY batteries, such as longer cycle life, mounting flexibility and extreme temperature tolerance.

The new ODYSSEY battery heavy duty/commercial product guide is part of an ongoing branding initiative for ODYSSEY batteries that includes segmentation of all products and communication materials by four markets: automotive/light truck vehicle (LTV), heavy duty/commercial, powersports and marine.  The initiative also includes re-branding the popular Trolling Thunder™/Marine Dual Purpose Battery with its current identity, the ODYSSEY Trolling Thunder/Marine Dual Purpose Battery.
